How to Choose an Acrylic Standee Supplier: Thickness, Printing, Sampling & Pricing

Time:10.22.2026 Views: 0

Acrylic standees, keychains and display cases look simple, but thickness, edge finish and color shift are where most problems appear. Here is how we recommend vetting a supplier.

1. Check the process range

Do they only make standees, or can they also handle keychains, display cases, custom shapes and magnetic structures? A wider range makes it easier to keep a full merchandise set consistent in color and lead time.

2. Thickness and edges

Common thickness is 2–5mm. Too thin and the piece warps or feels flimsy. Polished versus unpolished edges also change the hand-feel and perceived quality. Ask for the default thickness and edge process, not just a rendering.

3. Printing method

UV full-color, white ink base, double-sided printing and partial foil or laser effects all affect cost and result. For dark substrates, ask whether a white base layer is used, otherwise colors turn muddy.

4. Sampling and color

Standard sampling is 5 working days. Check transparency, color accuracy, edge chipping and base stability.

5. MOQ and quote

Standard MOQ is 1,000 pcs. Confirm whether bases, chains and packaging are included, and whether custom shapes or extra thickness cost more.

6. QC and packaging

Inspect scratches, bubbles, print alignment and chipped edges. Protective film and EPE foam reduce shipping damage.

7. Common traps

  • Rendering only, no physical sample.
  • A quote that excludes bases, chains and packaging.
  • Vague answers on thickness and edge polishing.
